As a business, we strive towards the goal of reducing our emissions and making a positive impact on the planet, and helping our customers to analyse and reduce the carbon footprint of their logistics movements.
Sustainable CLA
Internally CLA has made strides towards becoming a green operation which makes a positive impact on the environment. We consider the following merely the first steps on our sustainability journey:
- Company hybrid car programme
- Installed EV charging stations
- Recycling
- LED energy saving lighting throughout the office
- Reducing carbon footprint of individuals within the company by restricting travel where possible
- Until such a time when our organisation can run entirely on renewable energy, carbon off-setting helps us to contribute positively to the environment. We used emission analysis to calculate our carbon footprint, and made contributions to accredited organisations to achieve carbon neutral status.
Sustainability is an ever evolving subject, as the environmental factors change and technology advances. The steps we have taken so far will be followed by more measures taken in the future.
